It’s the baby panda vs. the woman in blue, who’s going to win?
Nevertheless, cuteness overload!
Look who are here to greet everyone a Happy Earth Day! My giant panda friends Kai Kai and Xin Xin, 2 two-year-olds from Coloane, Macau and a white tiger from Alabama!
Together with their other animal friends in the wild, they would like to ask you to live a greener lifestyle, to stop endangering their species, to be aware of what kills nature, and to take action against illegal logging and other practices that threaten wildlife and their natural habitats. They want you to be their friend, so heed their call and start caring for Mother Earth and her little babies.
Be involved in movements for a greener lifestyle and for a healthier world for us and for the animals, especially the endangered ones (e.g. tigers, dolphins, whales). Share the love. Fight for change. Though we might be in a situation where it’s already bad, we can still do something to make it better starting now. So be aware and stay aware!
As we come and learn more about nature everyday from TV shows, magazines, blog posts, photos, safari tours, and zoo trips, let us always remember that we are NOT here to OWN this world; we are here to TAKE CARE of the world given to us. We, together with the plants and animals, are here to coexist. We, humans, are not here to reign supreme over them.
Remember, animals are not dangerous unless we endanger them.
As we go green and continue to care and love the Earth’s wonders, remember that you do so because you know you’re fighting for someone or something. Whether you want to go greener for the sake of a better life for these pandas or for this white tiger or for these jellyfishes or for the pink dolphins in the Amazon or even for a less polluted environment for your kids (or future kids), you know going green is the right thing to do. It will benefit at least one person or one thing you love, so what’s stopping you?
GO GREEN TODAY!
Happy Earth Day everyone! I’m pledging to use less tissue paper. What about you? What are you pledging to Mother Earth today? :)
