What would Harry Potter be without, of course, Harry Potter himself!
A brave young man who has repeatedly survived the Killing Curse and other curses that were very difficult to survive and who was willing to sacrifice his own life for the sake of others, Harry Potter is truly someone to be admired. Truly worthy of the second chances at life!
Although sometimes a stubborn and a self-important boy (due to his fame), Harry never failed to think only for the best of the situation. He would go out of his way to save people, partly believing that he was the savior that everyone needed and partly out of love. Whatever the reason for his ‘saving’ personality, I think Hogwarts is lucky and happy to have him around.
Harry was a bright boy, learning through intuition and learning spells quicker than most his age. But not only was he a talented wizard, he was also a powerful one as he was believed to be the one to defeat Voldemort (and he did). He had the ability to cast more advanced spells at a very young age, proving his excellence. In addition, as a horcrux, he also possessed the ability to speak and understand Parseltongue, which set him apart from the rest of the wizards and witches. Furthermore, he was equipped with the skills of playing Quidditch and being great at it! Truly an exceptional student!
Apart from his brilliant skills as a wizard, Harry was also gifted with a heart of extreme loyalty, selflessness, and strength. He stood by his friends and those he loved. He protected them and made sure they weren’t sacrificing for his sake. He just wanted them safe despite the fact that he might be risking his very life in the battle against the Dark Lord and his evil forces.
I guess what really endeared Harry Potter to us was his ability to give so much love, even to people who have betrayed him. He showed so much compassion to those around him that it is quite impossible not to love a person like that. He was willing to forgive those who have caused him pain although he is admittedly short-tempered and impulsive when angered. But, he has always been the embodiment of love in the sequels, something that Voldemort couldn’t destroy and defeat because he didn’t understand it as he was filled with hatred, anger, and selfishness.
Praiseworthy for being strong-willed, witty, brilliant, brave, compassionate, and selfless, Harry Potter would definitely be one of those fictional characters who we will remember for the rest of our lives, especially by us, the Harry Potter generation. He has truly developed into one of our model characters who have given us so much to learn and reflect from. Following his adventures through 7 books, 8 films, and 10 years was worth it! I cannot express how thankful I am for this character and for his adventures through a world of magic and imagination. It has been an amazing experience, being a fan and all.
You will be missed Harry Potter! Your scar will be missed as well!
Thank you to Daniel Radcliffe for lending Harry Potter your great talent and for bringing him to life on screen for us! You have been incredible, and what a way to see you grow.

Facing this stuff in real life is not like school. In school, if you make a mistake, you can just try again tomorrow, but out there, when you’re a second away from being murdered or watching a friend die right before your eyes, you don’t know what it’s like. (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix)
I never wanted any of you to die for me. (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2)
Working hard is important. But there is something that matters even more: believing in yourself. (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix)
