The many faces of evil that haunted us through the sequels, who can ever forget such a character who is as dark as the setting?
A sadistic psychopath whose ultimate dream is to crush the world with his evilness and become the only eternal being, the Dark Lord is indeed the embodiment of the devil in flesh - merciless, cold, and hostile. Despite that, he was able to recruit many followers who have willingly carried out his evil works.
As a selfish being, Lord Voldemort has no other care in the world but his desires for ultimate evil and immortality, even risking his own followers to gain his own personal interests. He knows no such thing as love or friendship and is therefore as soulless as a corpse. He treats these followers of his as merely his instruments to achieve his goal of conquering the wizard world along with the death of his prophesized killer, Harry Potter.
Considered to be the most talented young wizard that Hogwarts has ever had, the boy who was once upon a time called Tom Riddle has used those skills and knowledge to spread horror and death. From Hogwarts’ most prized student to the biggest monster that Hogwarts has ever created, Voldemort has truly left the wizarding world a legacy that cannot simply be deleted from memory, no matter how hard anybody tries.
An interestingly brilliant wizard. A determined leader. A heartless and cruel creature. A narcissistic man who thought he was all-powerful and unbeatable. An evil force who was thought to be impossible to defeat but was brought down by his own arrogance, indifference, and the power of the united good led by Harry Potter.
And finally, a man whose weird-looking nose still bothers me up until the end of the last installment (even until now actually as I look at these photos).
It seems like that Voldemort will be a name that will forever ring not only in the ears and hearts of the wizards and witches but also in those of the moviegoers and fans. This character has truly imprinted something in us that we will bring with us as we grow older. He has shown us that being evil may bring us temporary joy and power but will eventually be the cause of our downfall. By then, it will be too late to turn back and to realize our mistakes. His character has reflected through a contrast the fact that being emotionless is never a good thing and that love is what will defeat the darkness around us.
Voldy (or You-Know-Who), while you may be the most miserable character who has tortured many, if not all, of our other favorite characters, you will be terribly missed, especially for that nose. Gosh, seriously, that nose disturbs me every time. You have truly made each of us a horcrux (and I seriously hope we can speak Parseltongue as well).
Thank you to Ralph Fiennes for being such a fantastic Lord Voldemort! You are very convincing and very evil indeed. I hope you had a good time tormenting the other characters as much as we had a good time watching you have fun while being He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Now that you’ve shared your “inner thigh joke”, I don’t think anybody will think of Voldemort the same way ever again.

Greatness inspires envy, envy engenders spite, spite spawns lies. (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)

Avatar Real beauty ends where an intellectual expression begins. - Oscar Wilde (The Picture of Dorian Gray)

So come and appreciate what the eyes see as beautiful. SEE the picture. LISTEN to its story. No prejudices; just an imagination.

Beauty is calling out to you. Heed it without hesitation. See what the world offers you, and you will be filled with only amazement.
