Need I say why I love this particular ginger? With a great sense of humor and a large appetite, I think it is impossible to overlook the specialty of this character. A very interesting boy indeed. No wonder even a Hermione Granger fell in love with him. Can you blame her? He’s just too adorable!
Always on the lookout for good food (or just lots of food actually) and for some bickering sessions with Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley is definitely one of the more fun and crazy characters around. He’s just so childish, immature, and sensitive that one has no other way of responding to him but to laugh out loud. His insecurity and his lack of direction just make him one character we’re thankful to see on screen as he always lightens up the mood in the stories. Looks like it’s not only robes and school stuff are handed down to him by his equally hilarious twin brothers, Fred and George, but also the great sense of humor.
While he may be lacking knowledge in a couple of things here and there, Ron was clearly not lacking in one: loyalty. Though fearful of the dark side, he never shifted his allegiance from Harry, Hermione, and from those he loved. He was always there with them in every step of the way.
Despite his cowardly, frustrating, and immature personality at the beginning, Ron has shown extreme growth, like Neville, as the story progressed. He became someone protective, courageous, and capable of being a great leader. He has transformed from a little boy who loves to talk with his mouth full to a young man who is willing to take Hermione’s place as the subject of the Cruciatus Curse in order to protect her.
What I particularly love about this character is that despite the growth, Ron didn’t lose his funny side. He’s still as lovable, only more mature.
Therefore, I only have these words for both Ron Weasley and Rupert Grint:
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
He will surely be missed. Just look at that face, at the way he stares at Hermione as she played the piano, at the way he tries to cry, at the way he’s angered, and at the way he tries to be a defendant of Hogwarts and his friends.
How can I not be moved to tears, knowing that it’s his last year on the silver screen? Oh, how can I not miss him? It’s impossible! Thank you Ron Weasley for being such a wonderful character. And thank you Rupert Grint for being such a fine young lad gifted with such a brilliant talent! :)

Hermione, you are honestly the most wonderful person I have ever met. If I’m ever rude to you again -
Hermione: I’ll know you’re back to normal.
(Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix)
That’s my girlfriend, you numpties! (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2)
You never get anything new, either, with five brothers. I’ve got Bill’s old robes, Charlie’s old wand, and Percy’s old rat. (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone)
