“Starry Night” by Vincent van Gogh. One of the most beautiful paintings I’ve ever seen. The colors, the “swirl technique”, the setting, and the mood are all in a perfect blend for such an incredible piece of work. And considering that this was painted by someone who was diagnosed with a mental illness, I’m really in awe. I can barely make a sketch of a simple house in my most sane moments.

A cute little teddy bear keychain that I won in a raffle from Pilot pens this afternoon during our college fair. I named him Teddy. No, I’m kidding. Obviously. I’m not that lazy to name him Teddy. I actually named him Pierre.  Don’t you think he’s adorable? (And yes, that’s Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in the background.)

Creepy and cool at the same time. Just wish me luck when I wake up in the middle of the night. I hope I don’t get a heart attack or something.  What are your fave artworks?

Look! Florida’s Natural fruit candies (or nuggets) in mini juice boxes! Packaging cuteness overload! And so, without asking myself whether they are worth it or not, I got myself one of these. Sometimes, I can be so rash when buying cute stuff. But, you can’t blame me, right? ;)

I love everything about this song - the beat, the tune, and especially the lyrics. Such a powerful and inspiring song! It always reminds me to stop blaming the world for everything that happens and instead, look at my own shortcomings and do something about it. It reminds me to first change the things in me that make me destructive as a person before I can demand the world to become a better place. 

I’m starting with the (wo)man in the mirror. I’m asking you to change his (her) ways. No message could have been any clearer. If you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change.

When I first saw these, I instantly thought of pandas. Don’t you too? Actually, I’m really just trying to make space-filled models of polymer molecules sound cute.  Too nerdy of me? Probably, but why not? I think I can be proud of that.

Riddle me this….

1. Stuffed toys, cartoons, and boy bands. But, Disney reminds me the most of being a kid. Whenever I see those classic Disney movies like The Lion King and Cinderella, I feel myself getting brought back to the past. I suddenly remember those good ol’ days of sitting by the couch and obsessing over those Disney movies in VHS tapes. 

3. Music and small talks with friends and family make me happy everyday. I just love to tell stories, to share experiences, and to just be adventurous for the day. As for music, it just puts me in a good mood. And oh, if there are brownies around, that is definitely included in this list. But, well, I don’t (and probably can’t) eat brownies everyday.
